Why do we ask you to login? Having your tickers in an account makes the whole site work much more efficiently, giving you faster serving of your tickers when you use them on other sites. It also gives you the advantages of being able to save and edit many different ticker types under the one login, making it easy for you to change or edit them any time you like. This process allows us to identify user's tickers so we can run great competitions for you and gives you access to our fabulous 'upload your own photo' feature, where you can have your OWN photo on your ticker. We are the only ticker site with this feature and we hope you enjoy it. It also allows us to see which images are really popular and which people don't like, so that we can continue to create new bars and tickers that you love.

I love having my ticker in my signature, where else can I use it? You can use your ticker anywhere that you're connected to the internet. Our optimised tickers make it very easy to remember the 'URL' for them, it's simply http://www.tickercentral.com/view/1/2 , where the numbers are your unique ticker ID's. You can put your ticker in your email signature, on your own website, in your blog profile and anywhere else where you can put images online.

I can't login/it says my username and password doesn't exist Please try to reset your password by clicking here. You will need to know your username. If you don't get an email with your new password, please contact us as your email address in your profile is probably wrong. If you still can't login with your new password Please delete all your cookies and temporary internet files by going to Tools, Internet Options (including offline content) and then start a brand new session (not just File, New Window), then try logging in again using your new password. Please make sure you have all capitalisations correct and you don't have caps lock on.

Why isn't my ticker moving/has another phrase on it? Congratulations! You have reached your countdown date. Rather than have the tickers error when you reach the end of the timeframe, we have created cute messages such as 'Newly Weds' or 'Happy Birthday!' that will display when your chosen ticker reaches the end of its countdown.

Why isn't my ticker working when I create it? Usually this means one of the 'parts' of the ticker hasn't been selected. Make sure you have chosen something from every category (if you don't want any text or no side image, just chose these options in their category). You may have also chosen a date that is in the past for a birthday, anniversary or wedding date, or chosen a 'start of cycle' date for the TTC that is further back than your entered cyle length.

Why isn't my ticker working on the website I'm using it on? Different websites have different types of 'codes' for use in their signature. We have included the most common, BB Code , HTML and ezBoard. Please see the Website & Forum FAQ to see the most popular ones. If you can't figure out which your board uses, please ask your board admin or click here to contact us. If your website uses something we don't have listed, please let us know and we will be happy to add this for you. Please note that all of our tickers have been optimised for use on boards such as ezBoard and other sites that don't allow the ? character in your signatures.

Why is my ticker the wrong date/amount of days? Please make sure you have entered the correct date on the ticker by going to our Ticker Edit Page . Especially with 'scrolly' mice it is easy to accidently select the wrong date. We use the standard 40 weeks to work out our pregnancy dates, and so if you are using a different scale it will be out by a little bit. If you are in a different timezone (we are GMT +10) you may also find yourself out at some times during the day. We will soon be including different timezone support.

Why isn't my photo uploading working? Our ticker software accepts uploads of jpg and png's of file sizes 30KB or less. Unfortunately due to licensing issues beyong our control gif's are not supported. However, you should always store a photo image as a jpg for maximum compression and best display and other types of images work well as png's rather than gifs. To make a file smaller, you can change the actual size of the image and also change the resolution of the file, as 72dpi is all you need for the web.

Is there a limit on how many tickers I can have? In short, NO! We understand that people like to have birthday tickers for all of their children, or that they are pregnant or TTC and have other children as well. You can have multiple tickers for each type so you can even have a different type of the same ticker for use on different websites.

How do I edit or delete my tickers? You'll need to be logged in to do this, but simply click here to access your main profile where you can edit and delete multiple tickers at once. Please note that once you delete a ticker, we cannot get it back. You are welcome of course to create it over again. If you are not logged in when you try to go to any of our account pages, you will be prompted to enter your username and password.

How do I change my account details? On our Ticker Edit page you will see a link to your profile page. Here you can change your email address, password and other details in your account. By keeping your other details up to date you ensure that we can always find you if you are a winner of our special spot prizes! You can also subscribe to our newsletter, where we will keep you updated with special offers, new features and new tickers as they are added.

I really like a bar or ticker in another category, can I use it on my ticker? At this stage you can't automatically select any images from another category, however if you contact us we just might be able to help you. If you'd like a full custom ticker, we do offer a service to create a unique one just for you for a small fee. We won't give anyone else access to use this ticker.

Can you make me my own, one-off custom ticker? Yes we can! These are made for a small fee and include up to three design styles for you to chose from. Please contact us for prices. Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer or cheque/money order (Australia only).

Why is my ticker not working/is my old ticker on my old posts? Some websites, depending on the forum software they use, don't update signatures in old posts and so you will find that your old posts have your old ticker in them. If you're on a website that updates their signatures when you change it, lucky you! You will always have your most up-to-date ticker in your signature.
